Becoming a Signalong for Babies Trainer is both rewarding and fun.

 

Teach babies from six to eighteen months and parents signing in a relaxed setting. Encourage and support their communication skills, reduce frustration, and help parents and babies build a stronger and closer bond with each other.

Training

​

Anyone can become a Signalong for Babies Trainer. All you need to do is attend a two-day online Signalong  Training Course to become certified. Delivering Courses

​

We've identified the most appropriate Signalong signs for those aged 9-18 months and 18 months to 3 years. Every week, you will demonstrate the signs on the learning cards as well as popular nursery rhymes.

 

Group sizes are limited to a maximum of nine (excluding siblings), and each course is delivered over eight weeks. Courses follow a strict session plan that we guide you through and provide most materials for.

 

Trainers will be given a teaching area on a first come, first serve basis calculated using postcodes to ensure all Trainers have a fair demographic patch.

Parents and carers will be given learning cards to build a vocabulary of 106 signs. You'll also discuss baby milestones and potential speech, language and communication needs by giving parents and carers the appropriate handouts, which we will provide.
