We have a growing network of Signalong for Babies Trainers delivering engaging baby signing classes across the UK. Each Trainer has successfully completed the Signalong for Babies training course with Signalong, The Communication Charity, and is qualified to offer these sessions across the UK. Our Trainers are passionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated to providing interactive, family-focused courses designed for babies and children aged 6–18 months.
Meet The Trainers
Danielle Moore | Edinburgh

Danielle offers training in Edinburgh, Scotland. She has been using Signalong since 2007 as part of her role in a special school. In 2017, Danielle became a Signalong Tutor while she worked as an Early Years Team Leader at an adventure playground for children and young people with disabilities aged 0-25 years. Danielle currently works in a family centre and has trained her team in Signalong to help support children with English as an additional language.
“I have seen the positive impact Signalong has had on the team, children, and their families. I feel that Signalong is a wonderful communication tool that can open the world up to those who may struggle with their communication, it can foster relationships at an early age and is fun!”
Allsort’d CIC | Dorset

Allsort’d is a not-for-profit organisation based in Dorset that provides bespoke learning support for young adults 16+ with learning disabilities and associated difficulties within their own communities. Trainers Jessica, Tori, Coco, and Katie found their passion for signing through a Signalong choir.
“We feel that it is important for all ages to have some knowledge of a sign supported system to aid communication as adults and children. Communication is vital in life as this is the foundation of expressing ones needs, desires, creating friendships, giving and refusing consent as well as many more.”
Kirsty Stansbie-Brown | North West

Kirsty is a Speech and Language Therapist passionate about communication and language development based in the North West. Kirsty has been a Signalong Tutor since 2018 and has seen first-hand the benefits of using signing with children, particularly those with autism and related communication needs.
“When I became a mum, I chose to introduce my daughter to signing to promote her language development and naturally I used Signalong to do this. Her enjoyment of learning signs to support her communication before speech was evident and we made many 'conversations' before she could talk. As a result, she was able to express her wants, needs, and interests and did not seem to experience the same frustrations that other children can at an early age.
I can also offer some reassurance that using signs should not hamper speech development, as my very chatty daughter can also tell you herself!”
Ann Hill | Kelso, Scottish Borders

Ann is our newest Trainer based in Kelso, Scottish Borders. Ann has always had an interest in Signalong as her 20-year-old son uses it for communication. Ann wanted to train to become a Signalong for Babies Trainer to help other parents communicate with their children after seeing first hand the benefit of using Signalong.
Tracy Goode | Norfolk

Tracy has 15 years’ experience working in a special school specialising in communication before joining Signalong 12 years ago. Tracy has a wealth of experience in delivering training and developing the Signalong for Babies programme.
